Composition：
Flame retarded epoxy resin, 80%-solvent of a phosphoric reactive, flame retardant modified epoxy resin

Application and Usage:
ICAM-8606 is a polyfunctional epoxy resin (solved in MEK), which contains a chemically bound organo-phosphorous substance. Thus the mechanical properties like stability and modulus as well as chemical resistance are not influenced negatively as it occurs when using additives or filling agents.

In case of hardened epoxy resin systems optimal flame retardancy (i.e.V-0 according to UL 94) can already be achieved with a phosphorous content of less than 2 %.

Minor demands can already be achieved with lower phosphorous content.

ICAM-8606 can be processed with all common epoxy resins, reactive diluents and hardener
